F.I.R.E.S OPEN LETTER FOR 2012

Dear Families and Friends,

This is the Fires Open Letter #35. Thanks to God the FIRES Ministry is alive and growing in many countries. On a personal note, I have not been able to travel very much this year because of health reasons; the only trip I could make was to Stevens Point, WI to participate on the wonderful 2011 National Marriage Encounter Family Conference.

PTL !!!                                            

In fact, the quality of my life now has been restricted to daily prayer and offering the Sacrifice of the HOLY MASS.  I am also preparing the new FIRES Programs and Manuals.  The only “travels” my restless and dreaming heart is currently able to make consists of answering all the people who send me E-Mails and personal letters.  Rest assured I am doing my best to maintain my health through regular, physical exercise, and faithfully following the wise counsel of my doctors, who advise me as to how much activity I am allowed to do. 

Therefore, I am tremendously grateful to our merciful GOD, and to the people who pray for me daily.  Rest assured, I have plenty of time and energy to answer any and all correspondence, whether electronic or by regular mail.  It helps keep me awake, useful and hopeful that I am able to serve to reach out to more and more Families and their Sons and Daughters, always maintaining a great Trust and Hope in the amazing action of the Holy Spirit. 

Actually, our sacred and challenging target is to be able continuously deal with Families and their Sons and Daughters, Created by GOD, The Father, Redeemed and Saved by GOD The Son, JESUS of Nazareth, and Purified, Transformed and Sanctified by GOD, The HOLY SPIRIT.  

 Finally, now more than ever, we need your family prayers, and your provident and generous financial support. As you know, your check to Fires Inc. is tax deductible.

 As every year, we wish and pray you have a Blessed Family Thanksgiving Day, a Holy and Joyful Christmas and a peaceful and hopeful year throughout 2012.

IS OUR FAMILY OUR GREATEST TREASURE?

JANUARY: What do I appreciate the most in our

                 Family, and in each one of us?

FEBRUARY: Do I feel we are a happy or unhappy Family? 

              Why do I feel this way?

MARCH: What are our big problems, and the little ones?

           Actually, what are we doing to solve them?

APRIL: What are our big and little needs?  How are we addressing them? 

          What must we do? How? When?

MAY:   How is our family communication, frequent dialogue

          and mutual reconciliation doing? How can we improve?

JUNE: Is God number 1 in our family life? Think about clear

               positive and negative signs.

JULY:  Do we pray together? Every day? If we don’t,

when and how we can do it?

AUGUST: As a Family, are we a Community of Life

and true Love? Positive or negative signs.

SEPTEMBER: How are we, as a Family, reaching out to

                the needy people around or beyond us?

OCTOBER: On Sundays, do we rest and go together to the Church?

            If yes, pray you continue.  If not, or why not?

NOVEMBER: What do people say today, and what do they expect

      from Jesus of Nazareth? What do I personally know and

expect from Jesus of Nazareth?

DECEMBER: What our Family knows about Jesus of Nazareth?

              What Jesus of Nazareth expect from each one of

              us, and from our own Family?

SUGGESTED PROCEDURES

  I.- Each Member of the Family

1.- Before the Family Sharing: Pray and Think about the monthly question.     

2.- Write your answers in your Note Book.

3.- Be ready for your Family Sharing.

II.- Monthly Family Sharing

1.- Meet on the date and time previously agreed.

2.- Family Sharing.

       3.- Family Prayer.

III.- Family Celebration

1.- A nice Dinner, Snack, Pizza or Ice Cream.

       2.- A Family Game, a Talent Show or a family sing-along and dancing evening.
